I agree 100%, absolutely not, there is no reason for LSU to ever storm the field in any football game. A team like LSU is suppose to win.
Always the voice of reason from you BamaScoop.

Just my two cents.
Agreed. In all the years I have listened to, watched or attended LSU games (since the late 1950s), the only times fans stormed the field was after the one's mentioned above. That includes some pretty big games, including the 1971 win over Notre Dame. It isn't part of LSU's tradition to storm the field. I didn't like it when it was done those 3 times when LSU was struggling. We aren't a low-profile program trying to make a name for ourselves. Nobody should set foot on the field immediately before, during or after a game, unless on the team, coaching staff, in the band, a cheerleader, or in some other official capacity. That is because we do and should respect the stadium and its traditions.

i still want to know if you cheer while we are on offense.

DIOT. You cheer because you're happy LSU did something great. Rushing the field is when you win after being a huge underdog. LSU will never be a huge underdog again. I think there's a beach ball begging you to toss it around during the game while you wait for the wave to come around, somewhere. Tear the goal posts down while you're at it.

it was directed at lsutgrad2007.
he does not seem to understand when and why you cheer.
and its not just when good things happen.
i am wondering if he is one of those fans that yells and cheers when we are on offense and at the line of scrimage.

I don't think many fans remember the giant wall of different uniformed officers and officials standing in front of the student section toward the end/at the end of the 2007 Florida win. Personally they looked like they wanted top take some people out if they even got close enough to breathe on the grass...storming the field is not even an option anymore and there are severe consequences for those who do. also the whole act like we've been there argument always applies...

there were facebook groups started telling people to storm the field for the florida. it was a stupid idea then and it is a stupid idea now.
those groups recieved the same backlash as this thread has recieved.

cant believe we stormed the field for Moo st. in 2000!
we didnt storm the field for that game, just Tennessee and Alabama. Tennessee was warranted and i think bama was too. first time we beat them in tiger stadium since the late 50's and you have to remember the state of our program at the time... not exactly what it is now. but that MSU game that year was one hell of a game and state was a damn good team. that game doesnt get the credit it deserves if you ask me.
