Only unrealistic fans, which we have a lot of, expected them to be good this year.
Yep, all the immature juvenile "Premature Congratulators" with their "We're Back" BS are starting to jump ship after a few loses.

Back to life, back to reality.

WW will get the most out of this bunch, but the talent is not there yet to do much.

Still light years ahead of the previous coaching abomination that Peas held on to for way too long. (Just like he's currently doing with the women's BB program)

MOst NBA teams lose steam when a starter goes down. I think the injury to one of the starters was an important part of what we saw in the last two games. Bench depth and starters are not the same in terms of experience and ability. Will Wade is working on that part in his recruiting from what I have seen.

So you’re agreeing with me that they aren’t good.

I agree, yes. But you don’t think they can get any better? Is it just about you being right?

With Sampson, tonight's game isn't decided until the final minute.

I would absolutely agree with that. He's our second best option offensively. I think his coronation as without question our best defender may be a bit overstated and premature by some....WW was very displeased with his defense against Tulane and last year he was without a doubt a defensive liability.

Yes, he shut down the Michigan guy but I think WW put him in a good position to succeed there, use his length and athleticism to shadow a spot up shooter who was really not a threat to create on his own. That was good coaching, but I don't think based off that he's all of a sudden Garret Temple.

But I think he definitely would have given Marquette more to deal with offensively and they would not have been as easily able to ignore the rest of the team outside of Waters.
