Yea, that's what LSU needs, a guy with absolutely 0 head coaching experience.

You must not watch much LSU football.

There are tons of crazy ideas about who would come to LSU. I think Muschamp is one that would be likely to come back.

Would be amazing till he loses his first game and all the tards say why did LSU hire a guy with no hc experience, he's obviously in over his head.

Muschamp coaches aggressively and employs an aggressive, multi-blitz package defense.

He is exactly what we need and what we should have at LSU. We need a proactive team and coaching philosophy, not reactive.

cue the "sportswriters' job is to say/write 24/7 whatever brain fart thought pops into their little skulls, even if it's utterly meaningless and baseless"

I know I'm in the minority here, but I just don't understand the huge hard-on for Muschamp. I like the guy a lot. He's got a lot of energy and seems to know defense. Without any head coaching experience, I'm just not ready to crown him a savior.

You mean after he barely beats OR and we have some ugly moments. That's true negatiger style, first win, he's gotta go.

Could you imagine the intensity and fire that would be brought back to our program. I would love it.

I guess Mandel is stretching his timeline. When Miles was hired, Mandel said that he wouldn't last more than 3 years.

He has worked on Saban's staff and Mack Brown's also.
This would be awesome.

Couldn't LSU have hired Muschamp when they hired Miles? What has he proven between 2005 and 2010 to make this a good hire?

I tend ot agree but....
Charlie Mac was promoted from an AC.
Hallman, Dinardo, and Miles were former HCs.

when we were looking for a replacement for saban I was all about the only considering a candidate who had HC experience. I am over that now.

If i were muschamp however I don't think i leave texas. That has to be the highest paying and easiest job in college football. Reccruiting is easy and the competition they paly isn't there. Even miles would be highly sucessful there.

Well, at least the defense would be doing what an LSU defense should be doing... Knocking QBs on their arse.

Mack Brown is going to coach for 3-4 more years.

Mack Brown will stop coaching when DeLoss Dodds (AD) retires.
That will likely be in a couple of years.

I don't think this will ever happen, but the meltdown from UT fans would be epic. So I'm all for it.
