this post is so far off from where it started...

JL > JJ

JL deserves a full week of practice with the ones. and he really deserves a START

We have problems in the "ghetto" because of personal choice.

Here's the truth of the matter.... You line up all the SEC qbs on the fence at recess for picks and our two guys are likely the last 2 guys on the fence. In my opinion, whichever one gets the most snaps will make the most mistakes. It's just the truth of where we're at. Disappointing but true.

TN, in which the Tigers gained ~430 yards and Florida, which the Tigers gained ~385.

In both those games, we committed (to a large degree, anyway) to playing Lee, letting him throw the ball down the field, running the ball out of non-spread formations, and throwing some play action.

I realize that it may not be a perfect solution and we might well have lost anyway to Auburn, but it is the ONLY thing that has really worked all year.

Since it has worked so well, don't expect to see it for the rest of the season. Part of Crowton's master game plan

Actually, given our talent, I'd like our QB to be average, to manage the game. If that is JJ, then so be it. If it is Lee, then fine. If it is RS or another QB, then by all means let that QB play. I just see JJ's play deteriorating and I don't blame him. It isn't for lack of effort. I doubt he likes being booed or throwing picks. It might actually help him to not start. I don't know how he'd respond to that. Might be what the doctor ordered. Last year at the Ole Miss game, I thought JJ got blamed when it wasn't his fault. To me, that's when his downward slide started.

I'd give LM my salary for a month(Not like he needs it..) if he made JL the starter and played him the entire game.

Jefferson is way better then JL. You Lee fans are looking for him to be the savior. Reality check, he's not. JJ gives us the best opportunity to win. JL just gotta take that backseat.

I hope you are kidding, and i hope it doesn't fall upon racial issues as it may sound. Hopefully you are just trying to present it that way. JJ has led the lsu offense to a 112th total offense ranking in 2009, and we are currently 100th in the nation this year with JJ playing approximately 75% of the season's snaps. That being said, without lee this year, lsu would probably be worse than 112th in total offense. JJ has regressed so much as a qb it is unreal. He has never been a smart qb, and now he can't even hit the broad side of a barn with a pass. He can run OKAY, nothing special at all...and his attitude is extremely poor. It used to be that at least he didn't turn the ball over, but even that is no longer the case.

Lee has played MUCH better than JJ this year, and it ain't even close. He bailed us out on a couple of games we would not have won otherwise. He did not play great against au, and that was his first game this year that he did not....but hell, what qb plays great everytime? NONE...not manning, brees, brady, etc......JL gives us the best chance to win and it ain't even close. IF the coaches would allow him to throw the ball vertically, not only could we take advantage of our big wr's, it would also open the running room up a lot more as guys are forced to back out of the box. As it is, they can stay in there even with lee because the coaches have gone to the short pass bs consistently.

Got news for you boys and girls, this is probably the real JJ posting on here.....it sounds EXACTLY like the way he handles things. Don't forget, after the TN game, he was quoted as saying he thought he played well and should continue to be starting. I have no fault for him saying he wanted to start, but to say he played well.......WOW......Honestly, this sounds like JJ himself.

You say this and yet Jefferson struggles to make that throw. Go back and look at the film. Also go look at the stats, Jefferson has been horrendous this season throwing the football.

Jarrett Lee is right where he need to be. Backing up Jordan. Coming off the bench. Jordan's record is 7-1 this season as the starter.
