I love seeing O getting out there and busting some arse. We had developed a country club attitude throughout the football program. IMO O is changing the culture of the dline and the team overall. He brings serious fire with him plus improved technique.

If i posted the O video I think my pants and shirt would end up ripped off.

We are not entitled to anything that goes on inside the program or behind closed doors but when the offense is as vanilla as it's been, what exactly are you hiding out there. USC opened practices under Pete Carroll and it didn't really have an impact.

Practices could be open during the spring and some during fall camp without exposing the Bama game plan or any prep work that goes into weekly game weeks

What makes you people feel so entitled to know everything that goes on in practice? It really is none of our damned business what happens in practice. If Miles doesn't want to tell us anything, then that is his call. If you want to see the results, show up when McNeese comes to town in September.

What do you mean.. "you people"...

I'm hearing Gilmore looks like a different player as opposed to last year.

Les hasn't announced that Harris is the starter after 1 practice. The rant says we are going 4-8 this season.

Parts of practices are open, even a scrimmage is open to the students. Pete also ran a Hollywood atmosphere, played in what was a much weaker PAC 10, and bolted when he was caught cheating.

Saying that a country club attitude had developed through the program sounds like a reference to what many believe happened to the University of Texas under Mack Brown. I had never heard this phrase associated with LSU football.

Also, does anyone know if the spring game will be televised, for the benefit of those of us who live outside the state of Lousiana?

Just curious if there has been anything on the spring practices aside from the first, Saturday?

Yea, the guy on the left will be the starter.

Do we really have 8 freaking QBs and not one can hit a open WR?

Maybe this year

Interesting tidbits from 104.5's Jordy Culotta:

DeSean Smith much bigger
Fournette quicker and slender
Tre White physically impressive
John Battle is long, rangy, fast, and has gotten more like a safety

Kevin Steele works with all defensive position groups and works well with all of the position coaches whereas John Chavis only worked with LBs and rarely worked with the position coaches.

Also looks like gilmore shed a bunch of fat. We might actually have a decent rotation at DT this year, even without valentine.

I like. If his playing weight could be between 225-230lbs, I think it'll make a huge difference in his burst and change of direction.

He was actually 224 last year and is around 230 now. I think he's lost fat and added even more muscle, which is ridiculous, I know. He has receiver hands and is just going to get stronger and faster.

I think being taken off KR duties will help him even more as well.

Where do you see 224lbs?

He was 225lbs running track his senior year and said that was 10lbs below his playing weight. And that was in high school. And lsusports.net has him listed at 230lbs. Don't think he was below 230lbs this past season.

Well Miles said he was now up to 230lbs and I've seen many different places last year list his weight anywhere from 224-226 during the season. I think I just saw it on a Sporting News article that was ranking the top RBs going into spring.
