Clearly Clyde is going to have the first crack at the lions share of carries. John emery & Tyrion will get theirs in the fall, but having depth at RB is never a bad thing. The spring will be the perfect time for tae provens/ Chris’s Curry to gain some experience and earn some carries this fall.

Out of curry and provens? Who do y’all think has the best chance to work their way in the 4 man rotation?

Curry no doubt will have best shot. I believe provens moved to slot.

Curry better step up and prove his worth because we got some horses coming in.

I don't see Curry staying if he is passed this summer. Would hate to see him go though. I believe he has a role on short yardage and goal line unless the freshmen go off.

I think Curry will show out in spring ball to be honest. Every time he got the ball and had any semblance of a hole, you could see the ability was there. Reminds me a little bit of Texas's rb a few years back D'onta Foreman. If he improves his vision and can get some blocking, he could be a real weapon.

Having said that, I am v excited about the emery & davis, and love the competition we have going forward in the rb room

Agree with the D’onta Foreman comparison. Hopefully we see improvement from the online and his vision improves

Curry year last year was rough.

I like shin cooingnin hut it seems like every time he was handed the ball there was 3-4 people in the backfield before he could take a step

I agree, he was running into his blockers. His vision has to get better or he want make it.

Yeah. I have to think that's just the other team knowing there was no chance of it being a pass play with him back there. If he learns protections proves at least to be a decent blocker, things should open up.

SPOT ON! With no RB early-enrollees, Curry will get plenty of reps to show his stuff. This is his opportunity to make an impact and seize PT ahead of the FR. Anyway you slice it, you have to like the players we have at RB going into the 2019 season.

Don’t forget Lanard. He reminds me a bit of Alfred.

I will give Curry one thing, he is a tough runner. With that said, even his high school film shows that he lacks that burst of speed that would make him a great back. His field vision doesn't seem to be what it should be for an elite running back. I saw the offensive line getting handled when he was in. The line must be fixed, but, we need a back that can hit a hole fast when it develops. Last year when they actually opened a hole, the backs looked like they were running in mud and either didn't see the hole or weren't fast enough to hit it.

Yeah this never happened. Not a shot at Curry though, every time he touched the ball the play was a clusterfrick.

Every time I noticed Curry at tailback last year, he got the ball and ran. It seemed defenses keyed on this, and every play he was in was blown up.

CEH will be the starter and i think Curry gets first look behind him. But Emery takes over RB2 by Alabama game and i think they could redshirt Davis.
