Sounds like a lawsuit to the doctor on this one

Nope, it is the same surgeon who operated on Drew Brees neck. Eaux said in the article that he and his wife were aware of the risks going in and that accidents happen.

Yeah, he abused her and all of the children. That is why when her son who was 5 years old when they got married has taken Eaux's last name as his own.

Like you, I have zero knowledge of what transpired at that time. All I know is that they are still married and it would seem they are happy now. If it was as unbearable as you would like to believe, I am sure they would have gone their separate ways. Stop being a piss ant.

Is the new talking point that it never happened?

There were REASONS many of us disliked him LONG LONG before he ever put on P&G polos, you know.

The articles' words:

"Ed married Kelly when Tyler was five years old. Stepdad and stepson are so close that this spring Tyler legally took his father’s last name."

The order did not involve his wife. It was before he met her and may have been his ex-wife.

No kidding??

quote:

"Many years ago coach Orgeron had a very unpleasant experience that involved behavior he is not proud of," Khayat said at Thursday’s news conference. "Pete Boone, the athletics committee and I are totally comfortable and confident that coach Orgeron is going to provide the kind of role model that we want for our program."

Orgeron, hired this week to replace David Cutcliffe at Ole Miss, had a restraining order filed against him by a Dade County, Fla., woman who accused him of repeated violence 13 years ago, said Robert Keen, a supervisor with the Dade County clerk’s office.

The charge of repeat violence was filed on April 10, 1991, and a restraining order was filed the next month, records show. Keen told the AP that records also show Orgeron did not violate that order.

The woman later received a permanent injunction, Keen said, and the court order prohibited him from going to her home or workplace. The injunction was terminated in July 1992, Keen said.

"All I’m going to say is this: I’m completely comfortable with the steps I’ve taken to correct the mistakes in my life, and they’re no longer part of my daily living," Orgeron said Thursday in Oxford.

Orgeron also was involved in a 1992 incident in which he reportedly head-butted the manager of a nightclub in Baton Rouge, La., several newspapers reported.

Felony second-degree battery charges were dropped when the manager settled out of court, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

Orgeron was fired at Miami after that incident. He spent a year away from football before resuming his coaching career in 1994 at Nicholls State.

Point is, the next a-hole who pretends that this story was made up can get bent. You can decide how much you think it matters or not (I happen to not be a fan of men who hit women repeatedly, but that's just me) but what we're not going to do is pretend that this is some made up story.

Cool?

I have never liked Orgeron due to these instances. I could never respect a man that would be violent towards a woman.

Repeated? Were they in a relationship? How many times did it happen? Why did it continue to happen? Did she keep going back knowing it would happen?

Why? Did Eaux ask for the injunction to be lifted? Can the accused have a permanent restraining order removed less than a year after it was filed? I don't think so.

She had to have filed for the order to be rescinded. Why would she?

Just a suggestion, but you may want to think about RAing for removal of this thread now that it's devolved into talking about whether or not LSU's head coach beat a woman in his past.

***I fully recognize that this was not your fault. I just don't see any reason for the thread to keep going at this point. Just my .02.

Let it known - it is officially OK if you repeatedly beat women so long as it was totally a long time ago and you're ONE OF US

I never liked him due to this fact and the fact that the only reason his name even exists in college football was his negatively recruiting against LSU for years.

Besides the idiots, this thread is a valuable look into what the LSU head coach and his family has had to deal with over the years. It is about a serious condition that they have had since before they were a family and Kelly - the wife - having to deal with it almost her entire life.

the haters try to ruin every thread that has anything positive about LSU. And now the not positive that are about serious struggles that continue to have to be dealt with. Why would this one be any different though?
