Article also says it's a "prove it" year. I agree.

Without viewing the list, I'd say they rank him too low at #10.
Very simple, objective glance at his career here:

112-32 record in a major (most acknowledge the premier) conference

1 BCS title, 2 appearances.

2 conference titles, 3 appearances in the conference title game.

Has been in a bowl every season, only 1 bad bowl loss (BCS game). Several close losses, multiple dominant bowl wins, including following seasons where the team has been written off. Destroyed Miami and Notre Dame when they were the popular teams, destroyed Georgia Tech when everyone expected them to run us off the field.

Multiple big out-of-conference regular season games, undefeated.

I challenge anyone to list 9 active coaches with a better resume

Les miles is a better cfb coach than you are at anything in life. He is the most successful lsu coach ever. Do you hold yourself to the standards you hild Miles too? Do people come behind you and talk about how many spots you left on their car after you got done washing it?

If they would have rated Miles 10th worst, the same poster you replied to and others like him would be celebrating.

Dantonio is 5 and Harbaugh is 6. Dantonio is a great coach and should be top ten but are both of them better than Miles? I get that Dantonio has done the most with less but Miles should be ranked higher than Harbaugh. I can see him behind Dantonio but behind Harbaugh?

Says what source? Cam has struggled to produce but for one season, DC has yet to call a play for LSU, and the STs guy hasn't done shite.

Last year was a prove it year. Proved the LSU athletics department didn't have a clue.

Other than that, every year should be a prove it year for every coach.

Kind of convinved Miles rather live at losing a game by 2 points and the "thrill" than blowing out someone and just moving on to the next game.

The problem with that is there are plenty of coaches who haven't been at their school for 10 seasons.

His overall SEC West record is (40-20). That's concerning. Especially considering that going into the 2008 season, he was (13-2) in the West.

The rest of the 8 seasons after the National Championship, he's sitting at (27-18) in the the Western Division.

Ok, name nine schools with a better resume since 2005.

Should be easy to do if Les has underachieved as much as some clown like to pretend. There must be schools all over the place with more than 112 wins, two NCG appearances, and a NC, right?

You are looking at a unique sample size given how long Miles has been at LSU and the turnover at other schools. But, here are the winningest programs in the past 10 years:

quote:

1A. Ohio State - 122 wins
1B. Boise State - 122 wins
3. Alabama - 121 wins
4. Oregon - 115 wins
5. LSU - 113 wins

No way in hell OSU won 122 games in the last ten years and every swinging dick here, but you, knows LSU has 112 wins in the last eleven years.

Not very bright, are you.
