I didn't tell a fib, nor did I lie Roger. I saw your earlier post where you called me a liar.
I did make a mistake about the circumstances involved with you blaming the S&C coach for things that didn't work out. But the fact remains, you did indeed blame the S&C coach for things that should be placed at the feet of the Head Coach and the OC.
Own it Roger. We all know you said it.

He finished ranked behind KSU n the recruiting rankings last year

First of all, Kansas St has been a decent team over the past 20 years.
Second of all, he got the job in mid-November. Come on man.
This is coming from people that have gone on and on about o not being able to recruit a better class because he was hired in November.

Most of us are smart enough to realize everything goes to the HC
Except you, Apparently

Own what?
That you lied and said you were in a thread that was proven to be total bullshite?
Own the lie Earl

They'll all pass him this fall.
Goldie doesn’t understand that 11 commitments will rank you higher than a team with 6, but when everyone’s classes are full the three star bonanza won’t put you at the top of the heap?

Hell, he doesn't even understand the difference between committing and signing. He has no credibility to talk recruiting.

He’s still smarter than that other kid that’s been pestering us tonight.

Then why call out the S&C coach?

Hey partner, I've owned up to being wrong about what I posted. How about you owning up to blaming the S&C coach for shite that the head coach should be blamed for.

Ok thanks Roger. Next time you make a mistake I'll be sure to call you a liar.

How is it a mistake when you have no clue what opponent I was referencing? You know, the entire crux of the discussion?

That's funny. Mervin adds nothing to the discussion. Just a smart remark every now and then.

Lol. You are so out of your element. Ever heard of a guy named Dr. Naismith? Without Kansas University, the rest of the world would not be playing basketball.
Anyways...you said the worst in FBS program. Just because there are mid majors better than them does not make them the worst FBS programs.
Boise St and Fresno St are better than a lot of teams.

I’m not sure he can do that. Let’s be honest, Miles’ strength is recruiting - not Xs and Os. He built a winner in Baton Rouge because he was sitting in a talent-rich state in a talent-rich region and could reel them in. KU doesn’t have the appeal that LSU has and Kansas doesn’t produce much high school talent. With his relative weakness with respect to “scheme” (a tip of the cap to Ricky), and the recruiting handicap of being in Lawrence, Miles was a poor fit for that job.
miles went to an Oklahoma State program that had 1 .500 or better season in the previous 12 years and IMMEDIATELY made them respectable with 7,8 9 wins.
