You aren’t very bright are you?

Jeff Long is the AD of KU. Long also used to be AD at Arkansas. He’s the guy who tried to poach Miles from LSU.

Les Miles is getting 6 years and 15 million dollars to take a program that is the worst in all of P5 and if he can consistently go 7-5 they will build him a statue.

Sounds like a good way to go out, and based on the fact he’s got the

LINK

40th ranked class I’d say he’s having fun with it.

never was a miles fan and laid out facts as to why. But these clowns now have forced me to defend miles!!!! ?

That’s how far off the reservation they are.
That’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

miles was always a flawed coach.
but had the accomplishments to earn leeway.

whats funny is none of these O cultists ever had a problem with shitty on miles but for some reason it hurts their soul when people mention that we are 2-5 against p5 teams that were good enough to not lose 5 pr more games.

it hurts their soul to know 2 of miles' last 3 offenses shite on anything O has put out.

they cant stand facts about O but had no issue with personal attacks towards Miles. thats how we know they are just O fans.

I’m not sure he can do that. Let’s be honest, Miles’ strength is recruiting - not Xs and Os. He built a winner in Baton Rouge because he was sitting in a talent-rich state in a talent-rich region and could reel them in. KU doesn’t have the appeal that LSU has and Kansas doesn’t produce much high school talent. With his relative weakness with respect to “scheme” (a tip of the cap to Ricky), and the recruiting handicap of being in Lawrence, Miles was a poor fit for that job.

We did pretty good with a predominately I formation and heavy use of the toss dive - until we hit November every year.

The 2007 Orange Bowl champions?

Yeah I guess you’re right there’s simply no way for programs to get better or worse what’s the difference if the guy who had a winning record at Oklahoma State over 4 seasons is coach or the guy who went slightly over .500 at Michigan State or the guy who went 0-8 in the SEC?

Exactly! Anybody on the rant that scoffs at that is either a liar or an idiot. Or both.

I'll give him 3 years tops

Miles was .500 in that conference before coming to LSU at a better program

Yessir. Arrogance in thinking he could will a player to be a great OL and then the promises of only recruiting one person at a position caught up to him. His confidence got the better of him, but he DID have it working for a long time.

Your entire life is centered around defending the honor of a grown man at all costs. That's sad.

Unlike you and the defensive line coach, I've actually held Miles accountable for his numerous shortcomings.

Have some fricking self respect man. The defensive line coach can defend himself

Pointing out your monumental hypocrisy has nothing to do with Ed no matter how much you want it to be so. You started this shite by mouthing off at my prediction of the LSU/Texas game. If you hadn't tried to down another person and just made your own prediction none of this conversation would've happened.

When all is said and done, I wonder which situation will have had more wins: O at Ole Miss or Miles at Kansas.

Yeah dude can’t recruit in Kansas, he’s screwed.

Wait, what’s that? You mean I just posted a link in this thread literally not even 2 pages ago with the KU 2020 class? And it’s top 40 with 11 3 stars?

Lol. Dumbass.

I hope he does well, I really do. KU is no real threat to LSU so there is no reason to pull against him. He took the unenviable job of being the guy to replace THE GUY when Saban left. Those coaches don’t normally last 12 seasons; he served LSU well. However, Miles would’ve been a much better fit at Arkansas, or State, or some other second-level team in a major conference like the SEC or ACC. He’s going to have a hell of a time getting talent up there and he’s not the guy outwit anyone with a pack of two and three star players.

I agree. We cannot take away miles titles. He won hardware bottom line. Let’s see if O can do that. Sure hope so. If not the bar will be set even lower. Hell they have already moved goal posts on wins and losses!

Omg, you’re right. OU, UT, OSU, West Virginia and others must be quaking in their cleats.
