Bottomline: if you think Flynn was a better qb AT LSU than JR was at LSU, you're an idiot, don't know football, or just don't JR. You say he wast smart enough, but yet threw far more TDs and less int ( which usually means he is reading the def).
Flynn played horrible in several games. His play in the Kentucky game and the GAME ENDING INT AT ARK,

"His play in the Kentucky game and the GAME ENDING INT AT ARK"

oh, please. Flynn did play poorly against Ky., but the "game ending INT" against Arky was a 2 pt. conversion attempt in triple OT. It made no difference whether the ball was picked or fell to the ground. The banged up defense was the real reason LSU lost both of those games.

Keep the personal shite out of this. There's no call for it. We are both fans on a message board and none of this means anything.

Yes. He also had two vastly superior receivers. Or do you believe that Bowe/Davis/Doucet = Doucet/Lafell/Byrd? He also got to run a college offense for a two years and was a significant part of a third. Flynn did not get significant pay time until 2007. But I suppose these aren't factors that contribute to the development or stat line of a player in any way. Particularly a QB.

At least that throw was to the endzone.

I don't see how Cam and JR are similar in their play.
They aren't. I was comparing their natural athletic gifts, which are significant. Newton being better on his feet than Russell, while Russell had a more powerful arm.

It hit him right in the hands. Unless Shaq just can't catch.
