Miles hasn't recruited one solid QB. Mett was a transfer. So I already believe Brennan is a bust because Miles wanted him.

Well then I guess the best way to describe your thought process is "you can't fix stupid!!!"

member when we landed the top qb in the country last time?

what in the world would have happened to us if old Russell shepard would have transferred? man we'd have been royally fricked to not have him behind the center.

if o is going to last he has to do what miles did recruiting, plus a great qb. That can beat bama. So he needs to do better than the second best recruiter in the past 10 yrs.

the man had essentially a few weeks to prepare for bama and did a fantastic job for the time that was given to prepare. I can't wait to give this saltwater coonass a year to prepare.

what makes you think that he's having a problem? do you think maybe that he's not really trying to "close the deal" on some of the athletes that miles thought were best for his program? you don't think that o has his eyes on different targets instead?

smartest thing I heard all day...maybe o doesn't want brennan as much as the faithful do. maybe he doesn't trust miles judgement maybe he is saying he is the coach now so he makes the rules he wants to buy and cook the groceries. good stuff man awesome. wish I could give u 100 up votes

What the frick are you talking about? Aranda did have a year to prepare for Bama, and he did look great.

He ALMOST got a kid to commit one time and that is your example of why you trust his recuiting ability?

When the sky is falling, you can't stop the rain. I applaude your effort though.

Right.....anyone who de-commits is someone we don't want.......right

Three coaches visited Narcisse last night after the Tua offer and Brennan said he hadn't even spoken to Orgeron about his status. Seems safe to assume that Brennan is not a priority to Orgeron.

No "you people" are the ones that promised top 5 recruiting classes EVERY YEAR with O. Early returns aren't living up to your own expectations

U571, haters like you are beyond saving. Coach O has not even been the HC for a WEEK yet. His reputation as a great recruiter has been built over the years & years that he's been recognized nationally as one of the best recruiters out there. And since you seem to be struggling with this whole process of recruiting, no deal is closed in Dec. National Signing Day is when it counts & Coach O has plenty of scalps from his successes in Feb.

moses and allen are obviously kids that you can't live without. in your nerdy mind you're probably saying that, if we don't land these guys, we may as well throw in the towel for next season.

while......believe it or not.....coach O might think that we will be just fine after we get the recruits that he wants to land. never know.......he maybe looking at juco ranks right now to bring in a LB that can contribute and kickass right now.

Good points. We really don't need LB's and O didn't even want Moses or Allen.

Recruiting is the back bone of any program..

I remember back in the days of the late 80,s all the 2 & 3 star player Curley Hallman brought into LSU.

How did that work out for Ole Curley??
