LF7 arguably the most explosive player in College Football the first 7 games of the season, is not a finalist for the Walter Camp Award?

Man I feel bad for LF7. How is this possible?

31 yards against Bama. Less than 100 against Arkansas. At first I thought Arkansas was a bad defense but they are apparently a good one.

To win awards, you are expected to show up against good or great opponents and he did not (mostly because of the OL).

I'm wondering just how much the Hawkins injury affected that

Unfortunately his O-Line let him and everyone else down tremendously in the month of November

Recency bias is a hell of a drug.

Sucks, but the media is fickle.

You can thank Les. Ramming #7 against the best front 7 in CFB will suck the mojo out of any RB. Lack of creativity, etc. I'll stop here before I kick my dog.

"outstanding player of the year who has exemplified the qualities of self-discipline, unselfish team play, desire to excel, mature judgment and respect for leadership."

And LF is not on this list..

People will remember the big games against teams like bama. They remember what Henry did to LSU

And this.

Bottom line is while the nation was watching, the team had its worst games. It's unfortunate, but not surprising.

How did Henry do against Alabama? Oh wait. That's right it was Henry vs LF because they went up against each other.
