Like I said above, the warmup passing tree from Jefferson to Shepard was fun to watch. It seemed like no matter how hard or far Jefferson put it, Shepard found a way to get under it and bring it in.

where in his post do you see something negative? Maybe it was only five throws.

Maybe not but the fact that you turn this into a negative speaks volumes.

Eta: to the OP. Glad your kid had a good time. And thanks for the info.

If your son really wants to go to a camp worth a damn, send him two weeks earlier to nicholls.

Lebron beat him 12-11 but he definitely walked on the final lay up.

It was a crab dribble.

He also played a game with JJ, whereby you throw the ball back and forth with somebody... If they catch the ball in the general area of the chest, the thrower gets 2 points. If they catch it in front of their face, you get 1 point. If it is uncatchable, or if you have to move, or reach outside the confines of your trunk, 0 pts.

I would think a pass in front of the face would be worth the most. A pass into the chest/body would allow receivers to catch it with their body instead of the hands.

This probably more of an accuracy drill than anything else...if the receiver is running you would want the ball thrown in front of him...etc..

I would still want it at shoulder height or a tad higher.

The best receivers learn how to catch the ball with their hands. Using the body gives the ball a chance to bounce off of the pads.

"Russell Shepard was the best receiver there ... hands-down. He and Jefferson hooked up on several long flies and their timing on their slants and hooks was much better than the timing of the random QBs and WRs who had never thrown to one another before. Was good to see that they were having less fun than the others -- all business. Hope it translates into good things in the fall. It seemed like no matter how hard or far Jefferson put it, Shepard found a way to get under it and bring it in."

Billy Gonzales already working magic.

"Alabama fans have no lives. There were a ton of people from Alabama who drove in from Tuscaloosa to watch Greg McElroy throw."

My son was a high school QB and graduated 5 years ago. He went to numerous camps and was pretty tough. I found the Manning camp to be the biggest waste of time and money. Totally commercial typical of the Mannings. Cooper and Archie get a big cut of this. Not much one on one at all. Too many kids. He went to much better camps just saying. Ole Miss had a good camp and the 7 on 7 was a great day for competition!

A ton most likely.

So you're saying Peyton slayed 3 at Tennessee and Eli dusted one at an away game in Starkville?
