That has been mentioned a lot and I found it unrealistic. The coach DOES have headphones on. But you are trying to tell me that with a fast moving play clock, the OC has time to come up with the play, run it by the head coach in detailed fashion, the coach has time to rip that play up and come up with another, and then signal in the modified play. Don't buy it for one millisecond.

Now I WILL say this. If Kelly has common issues with Sloan's play selections, demote the guy and call the plays himself. But to act like 40 seconds from the end of the previous play to the snap of the next play allows careful analysis of the play call is quite the reach IMO.
