I'd say picking up the 4th and 14 was pretty "effective" wouldn't you?

Not really, you could throw for 400 yards, but if you don't finish drives with scores, you will not be considered very effective.

Kind of hard to finish a drive when you're are pulled (inside the 10) and replaced with THE WORST QB IN FBS.

Why - because Lee is clearly the better QB - that's why.

The sooner we all stop trying to make LM's decisions make any sense, the better off we'll all be.

It doesn't matter, he was covered. You throw the ball to the corner, MAYBE Ridley has a shot at it, but it probably goes incomplete.

In which case you're lining up for a field goal to bring you within 1 pt with 9 minutes to go in the game. If you get the defensive stop - which they did - then you're just driving for a FG at the end of the game instaed of a TD.

BALL CONTROL, DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAMS.

No, what I'm saying is that in two 4th quarter drives, JL didn't get a score. that is ineffective, IMO

By that logic how many qtrs has JJ scored on compared to not scoring...do you call that ineffective...i call it worse then that...abysmal

wow...JL didnt get a score because he was pulled for a QB that damn near lost us the game because he was lined up behind the gaurd...JJ's running play didnt score the TD. Ridleys did...So, thats not JJ's score cause he did nothing he turned and pitched the ball to ridely end of story...Ridley didnt score because JJ was in the Game....he scored because of OL, Stampley, and his physical ability and desire to score...period!

I'm trying to explain to retards what Miles plan is

he has no plan...he's a retard
quote:

no one seems to be able to comprehend what is going on.

sounds like a retard problem...communication...communication...he nor his coaches nor his players no what the frick is going on....FUBAR!

quote:

ALL OF LSU'S QBS SUCK.

Im sorry, I havent seen RS or JLee "suck" this year. I have seen JJ "play 119 out of 120"

the rantards got it wrong in the beginning this year...Everyone knew that 1 year can do alot of good for a qb...i would agree...but they forgot it does a lot of good for people who used that year...JJ didnt use that year...JLee did...
I got chewed out all of last year, all spring and all summer cause i knew JJ couldnt do it...he was and is immature (shown by his comments to the media) and he's gonna stay that way until he figures some shite out (i doubt he will because of the selfishness)..you do that on the bench...Lee figured shite out...on the bench..now its Lee's turn...I kept saying lee, cause i saw a kid who stayed...toughed it out...showed guts and works hard...and i believe its gonna show this year and next...I just want a coach that will give him his fair chance...and not keep starting a guy that does not deserve to one bit...just to protect an ego...

As long as Lee winds up with a majority of the snaps, I can tolerate having JJ starting, though I don't agree with it.

Okay, now it's halftime. The team leading the nation in INTs has returned 2 of Lee's 4 INTs for TDs.

You going to stand by your statement above?

LSU needs to RUN THE BALL against UF, what ever gives them the best opportunity to do that is what I want to see.

Just an observation, but if Bama had trouble getting Ingram loose running against Florida, do you really have any faith that JJ will be the difference maker in this game??

What we do know.

FACT- Jefferson is a BAD PASSER, look at his stats.

Any other coach would have benched him long ago.

here's what else we know:

LSU LEADS THE FREAKING SEC IN RUSHING.

LSU runs the ball better with JJ than with JL.

UF's strength on D is their pass d.

LSU NEEDS TO RUN THE BALL AGAINST UF.

Ok, its halftime, the team leading the nation in INT's has returned both of JJ's int's for TD's (he does have more then lee this year) and he has been sacked 6 times because he holds on to the ball to long....Ridley, gets stuffed, and JJ has a bum ankle from all the sacks? (Remember he's "tender" as miles put it...and has a "low tolerance for pain"

see I can do that too!

are you gonna stand by yours?

You're thinking of JJ fool. His last two game:

13/32
105 yds.
0 tds
4 ints.

what if game....well, lets extrapolate JJ's awesome performance against UT. Which is more reasonable than your completely made up numbers....

6/24
60 yds.
0 tds
4 ints

Since he only played half the game against UT...thats what we could expect from a full game of JJ. sad.

He is the SEC leading rusher, and NO his name is not JJ...it's Ridley.

Considering JJ had 2 ints against UT playing half a game...ball control doesn't seem like a good reason to keep playing JJ. FAIL.

Alabama had 103 yards passing and 170 yards rushing against UF.

Here's McElroy's line:
11/17, 84 yds, 4.9 avg, 0 td, 0 int

Here's Bama's rushing stats vs UF:

T. Richardson 10 att, 63 yds, 6.3 avg, 0 td, 30 lng
M. Ingram 12 att, 47 yds, 3.9 avg, 2 td, 9 lng

I'm not saying the UF defense has a weakness, I'm just saying that passing defense is their strength. Based on Bama's stats, it seems to be true.

So how many yards did Bama get running their qb? You may have just forgot to post them

OF COURSE I'LL STAND BY MINE.

The difference is that two ints returned for TDs is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY worse than taking 6 sacks.

LSU has a better chance to win the game if the offense doesn't even score than if they give scores to UF.

um I said JJ's int's for TD's see

right there above, i even put it in bold so you can see better...

JJ throws more picks then Lee does...this is 2010 not 2008....you did say something like ball control didnt you?...

I see, you would throw the ball to the primary target even if he was quadruple covered just because that was the route that was supposed to be run.

And you think Miles is stubborn?

It doesn's matter what the route is, if you recognize it won't work, put the ball where only your guy HAS A CHANCE at it - basically, throw it away and kick a FG.

You obviously didn't even SEE the play in question if that is your position.

Ridley had to stop, and try to get around the defender to get at the ball. It was thrown short of the intended target, and it just so happened that was right where the defender was.

All JL had to do was spot the defender and go long instead of short. He had plenty of time, and put beautiful touch on the ball, only it was the wrong pass to make.

You sure are smoking something, but it ain't me.
