52-15 with SEC and National title do not equal a D in production. I'd say development a C- but production is an A IMO.

Al Woods got drafted based off his potential. The same way he got recruited. He was basically a bust in college.
What about Lafell? Flynn? Chad Jones? Tyson Jackson? The list goes on and on.

The example I use when explaining this to Miles supporters is this:
You can have a stable full of progeny from Secretariat, but if you stick them in the starting gate at the Kentucky Derby without any training and without a jockey, you're not going to fare well against a decent thoroughbred with a competent jockey.
