There were some here saying that that O had lost the team and it was unraveling, same with Pelini.

However, we clearly saw this team play the best it has all year, last night.

We saw our offensive coaches craft a perfect gameplan for a freshman quarterback with the odds stacked against them, we saw the quarterback execute it perfectly. We also saw them establish and dominate the running game.

We saw receivers catch everything thrown their way, we saw multiple receivers get involved, we even saw the defense step up and hold someone under 40

It wouldve been easy for this train to get off the tracks, especially with such a young team yet we saw some incredible focus from both the coaches and players and they all deserve a lot of credit for that.

I still don’t know about this defense. USC still gashed us for big chunk plays. A better offense scores more points than they did with those plays. It felt like a better version of the Vandy game to me.

Auburn’s offense is going to pose big problems because their misdirection and speed in the run game could kill us. That’s their bread and butter. If we don’t play significantly better than last night, it won’t matter that Bo Nix sucks. We will have to rely on the offense scoring a ton and getting a few turnovers to win.

You can only improve week to week. Glad we didn’t take a step back like we did against Mizzou

I agree with you but I'm counting any time we hold someone under 40 as a win

The defense was still bad. Gave up over 400 yards to a very pedestrian offense that didn’t even run very many plays.

I think they averaged over 7 yards a play in the first 3 quarters.

It looked better, but how much of that was the opponent not being that great offensively? USC isn’t Vandy. They have a few legit weapons. They also left some points on the table last night. We will know a lot more after next week.

O has been consistent as HC about acknowledging weaknesses and trying to correct them.

Curious to see if they can do anything for LB and safety.
