I'm ok with not starting skenes today. Our staff, big park has proven it wouldn't be necessary to add that strain to skenes recovery.

I don't know where this concept that Wake had a legendary offense came from. Wake is #26 in the country in batting average (LSU is #18) Wake is #2 in the country in runs scored (LSU is #1) Wake is #14 in the country in hits (LSU is #6) Wake is #5 in the country in home runs (LSU is #2) Wake is #5 in the country in OBP (LSU is #2) Wake is #8 in the country in slugging percentage (LSU is #5)

Their players said it during the press conference. Look at the slugging percentages. That is from having a small park and the wind in Omaha.

If you’re gonna compare apples to apples, all parameters need to be closer especially at the lines extending towards Center.

Their pitching in that park is what has impressed me.

And that is straight out of the mouth of someone that played this game at the highest level for a long time and knows arms (not me).

Why do the pros who know arms pitch on 5 days rest?

The other poster was right that he hasn't been overused in the postseason. He's a young strong guy so I would think he likely recovers well, but I don't know anything.

Im also not sure you could keep Skenes off the mound tonight. He a competitor and wants to help his team win. I dont think many people but you gives a damn about what parents, recruits, or insurance companies think.

Whatever, Wes Jonhson (a MLB pitching coach, CJJ, and Skenes himself decide is alright by me.

Isn’t Skenes two strikeouts short of Ben’s record? Sitting him tonight and losing would be brutal. No way he does not start today.

Forgive me for not remembering, but what pitching academy do you run?
