Jaquish has dictated where she plays since day one. I don't know anything about Ms Dawson, so I won't comment on them at. I mean all of the thousands of videos on YouTube .... I can't imagine who out this there, so I better not say anything.. But... Next year should be really special.

Unless the chemistry is repaired, it will not be any more special than this year.

Exactly. Just wish some of these kids had the same determination she did.

You seem to be in the know. What chemistry problems are they having? Don't like coaches...don't like each other...disgruntled about playing time?

I don't know anymore than anyone else. Just applying common sense from reading here, watching games and hearing some parents speak at the park. I've been around baseball & softball a while. Chemistry on the field isn't as important as chemistry off the field. While a team sport, there is a lot of idle time. Time to get in your own way. They returned the entire team minus 1 starter. So something has changed and it's not the talent level. That should have only gone up.

Not all great HS players translate to college so hold your horses. I am not saying she won't do great things here but yall need to calm down. Lets see how she does in fall practice and so on.

So one of the best high school players in the history of high school softball can't start for a team that can't hit it's way out of wet paper bag?

Why the hate for Jaquish? You have bashed her for two years. She will end of being one of the all time great Tigers at the end of her career. You can't possibly believe that any player dictates to Beth where she will play or what part of the order she will bat.

You call yourself a fan and then mock and put down our girls. I appreciate sincere criticism and I also enjoy reading about and promoting our incoming classes but your attitude to many of these girls is laced with hate and personal attacks.

I happen to absolutely believe it. She cannot afford to lose her bat.

I see down votes for calling Mr. 357 out on his statement. Very confusing. I'm not trying to bash him. As stated, I for one appreciate 99% of his post. Just doesn't make much sense to put expectations on these kids when you really have no clue.

You can be a die hard fan, that's fine, 18 does a great job on here. Truth is, we really don't know what goes on behind the scenes now and most of us never will.

Jaquish having control over the entire staff and team is such bullshite its funny.

Same with the Griggs is starting just because of her Dad.

The conspiracy theories among softball threads are really unbelievable.

So high school with these theories. Griggs had a great freshman campaign and even though she has had some struggles this year (as just about every player has) I don't think we have anybody better. Griggs is a solid, every day player that plays hard. Beth is paid to win games and you can bet that she plays to win not to appease Dad's, fans or players.

I do not believe either have control over the staff or team. I disagree 100% from Mr. Educote in that either should be dropped. I'm simply saying I can see a scenario where the coach approached her & Ms. Bell about less playing time and they declined. Its the only logical explanation IMO, unless I'm the only one here who believes that Jaquish/Serrett is a better defensive combo on that side. That's all.

That said, I'm going to remove myself from this debate. I hope the team can pull out a much needed W tonight.
