IMO we're not getting our money's worth. I believe her salary is $135,000 a year with other attachments that can bring it up to $150,000. This is top HC for the SEC. Is she better than Murphy @ Bama? No. Is she better than Walton @ FL? No. Better than the Weeklys (ex-olympic coach) Better than Miller @ Miss (ex-olympic coach).... We don't get the top-tier players and with her budget there is no excuse. I agree that she is coasting - especially with recruiting, she doesn't pound the TB tournaments like others do. As far as this season, the schedule has favored them until this weekend. UF exposed our pitching and hitting as average at best. This is a talented team but it won't be pushed or coached up to the level needed to compete for SEC or National championships.

No top players? Fice is high school pitcher of the year. Shortridge is gatorade player of the year. Pitcher last year Hofler-high school pitcher of the year. Incoming pitcher from New Orleans is one of the top pitchers in the country. Young and Santos hold records for high school home runs.

If we are as talented as some claim, coaching obviously sucks cause we are no threat to a championship at any level. Thanks for supporting my belief. Yvette is a big, overpaid fish in a small pond.

Yall douches bitching about women's softball...just like those bitching about women basketball. It is women's sports. Most guys don't care of pay attention.

You dont get it...while LSU is getting top recruits so is everyone else... Do you have any idea the number of girls that play softball it is the #1 female sport in the country. at any given day any college softball team can beat another one. Talent is everywhere and ALL colleges are getting their share. It is about as even of a college sport as there...talent wise.
