There is no way we leap from 16 to 8 in one week in the RPI. I want to drink the super regional Kool Aid, but it's not happening, even with an SECT win. Just too many teams between 9-15 who have good bodies of work to expect a leap that high. I'd be glad to get to about 12.

I don't think anyone said that the ladies would jump that high, but what their RPI is tomorrow should be interesting.

Mark Grigss? Really? Now you want us to fight? Because I criticize his daughter? Come on man. Get your panties out of a wad. And it wouldn't be much of one. Have you seen him?

No anonymity here. Although your name seems to refer to it.

Although she has about 20 errors this year, her bat has been much better this year. Her leadership is needed as well.

You also said Carley has been pitching fine, but ok. Just giving you a jab.

Biggest take away this weekend is we definitely are hitting better. Defense needs to keep down the errors like they have been. Smith is probably one of the hottest pitchers in the country. She will play a vital role in how far we will go.

She has so much composure in the circle. It is extremely impressive. 2 Wins over one of the best hitting teams in the country.

Playing USC would've been better to get at least a game to advance but if we can get rolling I like our side of the tourney bracket. UK just wins all their games by a run on some BS.

This sets up extremely well for a deep run. I would love another shot at Kentucky after they shut us out 3 times.

And here is how I would set the pitching rotation up. Torina always talks about trying to match her pitchers up , so here is how it should go:

Game 1 vs. Texas A&M: Smith. Not only is she pitching really well, but A&M didn't see her the first time the teams played in March. A&M has sluggers and Smith throws ground balls. Seems like a logical choice.

Game 2 vs. Kentucky: Hoover. Kentucky got 3 total hits vs. Hoover in two complete games. Their offense is weak and the only reason they beat Hoover is because she allowed too many walks/HBP.

Beyond that it's up for grabs, but there is how I would do the first 2 games.

Solid team and great coaching given injuries and playing in a brutal sec (no one beating uf 53-4!).

We had Florida on the ropes twice in our worst stretch of the season. At worst we should have beat them once and probably twice. When right, we can beat anybody.
