The whole demeanor is of a defeated team. That's something this coaching staff needs to deal with. Seeing SJ all excited about a walk in a position where her bat is sorely needed, was telling to me.

Is this the forum supposedly monitored for negative comments? Well, I don't have a daughter on the team and will say without fear of reprisal that this level of WTF is at least partially on the coaches. To have this level of slump from the entire lineup obviously goes beyond a player or two being in a slump.

I'm still not ready to give up on this team, yea they are in a slump but hopefully they can break out of it in the next few weeks. Now if we can't then yea we most likely won't go far in the post season.

Well one thing is for sure. Beth made sure this team didn't peak too early this year.
Sad that you lose one player from the lineup and everyone else gets another year of experience and we are noticeably worse.

I don't know if I've ever seen a hitting slump of this magnitude from an entire team. I can understand one or two players struggling, but we simply cannot put the ball in play when we need to. How does a team that returns all but one starter suddenly lose all chemistry?

I felt something has been missing since the beginning of the season. Some red flags were raised when we couldn't score a run against Arizona pitching. Now every bat has gone ice cold.
Defense has gotten better and pitching has been outstanding but they get no help at all.

Agreed, but i sure as hell don't know what it is heck she probably doesn't know what to do right now.
