Before the next game starts...
Tell Jaquish she is in there to drive in runs, not just to merely get on base. Tell her to drop the "I am willing to swing if you throw three strikes my way" attitude and get up there with an aggressive mindset.
Sit Griggs. sit her down.
Throw in Weinberger. Satchell Cunningham, and all those who deserve a chance to hit when others are not hitting.
I feel bad for Serrett.. i just hope she knows we are thrilled to have her, very thrilled. The batting issues,,she is making contact but swung at a bad pitch. She cares, and she has to potential.. get someone to work with her.
Get Beth to tell them to go for the first strike, not the first reachable pitch, but the first strike.
Doyle starts off 0-2 and so does Springfield.
thats all i got time to say, but know what was funny...? I was watching the game, bottom of the inning and the girl from Ole Miss hits the ball deep in Centerfield, Griggs goes back and then the SEC screen pops up and says, The event you were watching has ended. Ha.. guess it went over the fence.,

They are so lethargic I cant see the light of day that they win this game. Confidence could become a past tense if they lose this game. We could be looking at a sweep.

The hitters are very predictable. Balls go right to them because maybe they hit to the same place every time. It's getting critical now. 13 innings with no Runs.

Nope... I just support & defend all of our coaches when they work hard for our players. As a coach for 30 years, I've been through tough times like this. Our hitting coach has done a great job for 6 years. Sometimes we hit a wall or slump and hopefully we will get through this soon.

The one thing I do not like about softball is slap hitting. There are too many mistakes made hitting a ball while moving. Landry is an example of that. When she stays in she has hit homers with her power. Now prepare to see the girls drop a bunch and it will be a challenge to secure a regional.
