That's depressing. We can't afford to lose this series. Gotta win the next two

Curious how the batting order is gonna be next game, and who starts.

We had plenty of chances. I feel bad for Carly. We couldn't give her any run support, so`she had zero margin for error.

Same song, different verse. We continue to struggle against good pitching.

put in Satchell, Weinberger and anyone else on the bench. Hitting could not be worse than it has been for the last couple of series. And give everyone else who hasn't hit a rest or shake them up.

Cunningham has looked good when I have seen her play over the years, really surprised she hasn't seen any batting opportunities all year. I think Griggs may need to sit for a game or two, everyone else has.

Completely agree, not sure who else we can really play besides Satchell, maybe Thornhill but I don't know if she is even the answer.

I think we put ourselves in a hole too much at the plate. We watch to many nice pitches over the plate.

I wonder if it takes some of the sting out of 15 to whatever?

I think Satchell, Weinberger, maybe even Cunningham should get a look. No they don't have much experience but I mean it can't hurt to try.

I just looked at the SEC stats again to just look. The numbers are so damn scary

The worse they can do is score zero runs. We need a spark so i'm all for trying them.

Personally this is my take on some of the issues

I think a lot of players have really poor hitting mechanics that put them at a disadvantage against pitching of this level.

I think we attack the wrong pitches too much and just watch a lot of the beautiful ones that go over the plate. We are now swinging at stuff just to stay alive. You won't be very successful doing this constantly.

I know I am not the only one who notices but we have players that stand way to close to the plate and they jam themselves too much, while others stand way to far back and gets burnt on the outside pitches.

As far as Jaquish is concerned. She has been walked so much and pitched around, its almost like she doesn't look to hit anymore. She waits till two strikes until swinging like you said. I don't care if its first pitch swinging or whatever, she needs to continue to swing at everything. She is almost useless now just standing on 1B with no one to drive her in

To win Jaquish needs to hit. It is nerve racking watching her constantly take the first 2 pitches for strikes and have one last swing to get the pitch she wants. It's not that I ma critical of her. It's mind boggling not knowing what she is thinking. She is better than that.

Good to be patient but damn she lets a bunch of good pitches go.

You are comparing Beth to Les Miles?

I mean in terms of the offense struggling right now sure but Beth has actually built this program much further than its ever been. Not really a good comparison.
