Texas Techs pitchers are going to be drained tomorrow if they advance.

I have a question that may have already been addressed in the previous 22 pages.
When the TT player was called out going to first base for player interference after colliding with first basewoman.......why is that the proper call?
I know my question was poorly structured, but the runner was in the baseline and could not avoid the defensive player without going outside of the designated running lane.

Quick answer is that the defensive player has the right to field the ball. The runner is allowed leave the base path in that sitch.

She should have also been running in the outside runners lanec....she was well inside the main foul line

In addition, the basrunner always has to avoid collision, right?

If it was a batter running to first they need to be outside the baseline to allow the first baseman to accept a throw from every angle in fair territory. I Assume the throw was from catcher and the base runner was on or inside the line

Gonna be interesting to see when they get the game in tomorrow with the weather

Simple wait all day if you have too.

TT just took a 1-0 lead on a bases loaded walk. Could hold up because LA Tech has barely threatened a run against them in 11 innings so far.

I'm hoping they scratch 1 across then go about 15 innings..sorry not sorry.

One player for La Tech is 3-5 and the rest of the team is 0-45 in the regional. That's rare.

This regional's back in the dead ball era across the board.

LA Tech's pitching has been very good this weekend
Shame their bats give them no help at all. A lot of weak grounders.

So assuming this holds up throw Wickersham tomorrow?
Would you throw Gorsuch if La Tech came back and won?

In either situation, why would you not pitch Wickersham? Play to win. She has been one of our best pitchers and is completely rested. She just needs to get through a first inning and try not to dig a hole. Pitch her and if she were to need some help thing bring in the other horses. If she can play like she is capable of she will be fine.
