Unfortunately Shemiah will never be loved or respected for her accomplishments by LSU FANS because of her brother and his poor decisions, so sad

This is extreme over kill

Most rational people can separate Shemiah from her brother. Everyone values and respects shemiah for overcoming the odds with her Lupus and her commitment to LSU.

While I disagree with the previous poster's "loved and respected" comments about Shemiah, I disagree more with this quoted comment.

I have said more than once and have seen others say that I/they are happy that Shemiah is a senior. That is not separation at all.

I started the thread yesterday about her diagnosis for Lupus. Who do you think I thought of in addition to Shemiah? I probably thought of the "human distraction" more than Shemiah in creating that thread.

At this point I don't think they are thought of separately. Thinking of Shemiah almost always makes me think of her brother. Thinking of her brother always makes me think of her brother.

He is the star of the show and it just so happens that he has a relative that plays softball for LSU.

We’ve seen this late season swoon before. Hopefully they can shake it off and salvage the series. If we drop 2 of 3, or God forbid we get swept by the Gumpettes, and bow out early in the SEC tournament, will our RPI still be high enough to host a regional? Is hosting a Super still a possibility?
