Awesome job from hoover, nice to see Sunseri step up and put some runs up for us. She didn't even complete the swing, just shows you how strong she is. hopefully we can find a way to manufacture some runs this weekend

I agree. That’s the one real complaint I have at this point. She needs to sit at least for a couple of games and regroup to say the least. I know I’m not there to see what the coaches see but it seems that those that pinch hit for her just have better at bats. It would surprise me if they are really THAT much worse in the field to keep her in right now. I’d rather keep this lineup and put Sanchez at 2nd when she comes back. At least she has potential for the long fly outs to score.

Beth is going to put sanchez at 2nd and leave doyle at 3rd. Just guessing.

That's actually not a bad idea. Doyle looks like a natural at 3rd and Sanchez has played 2nd.
Or maybe Thornhill can play 2nd?? She isn't flashy, but she could probably do a good job at 2nd. She played a couple innings at 2nd over the weekend or in the midweek game last week (I forget which one), so that tells me the possibility has at least crossed the coach's mind.
