At the very least LSU has some of the most quality wins of the conference so far.
Alabama is great but they have looked like shite so far. Georgia and a few other SEC teams continues to schedule sisters of the poor which proves nothing.
Watching teams around the country, there have been a lot of rough starts. Washington, ULL, Minnesota, Northwestern, Florida among others have all had some difficult times this weekend.
LSU is far from perfect product right now, we have struggled offensively this weekend but the pitching looks better across the board. Our freshmen are getting acclimated and are producing. I highly doubt Doyle, Sunseri, Stewart and Andrews keep hitting this bad, all have proven they are better than that. It’s going to be a work in progress as we figure a few pieces out but I like that LSU has things to build on. I felt last year, LSU came out hot and peaked a bit early.
Great win tonight and a great start to get two top 15 wins to open the year. Looking forward to seeing other youngsters get opportunities tomorrow!
Wins like this is going to pay off down the road. Especially being in tough situations with the pressure to make a clutch hit or pitch.

I am calm and don't need you to tell me what to do or how to feel. But I do thank you for your heartfelt thoughtfulness.

That's what has me chomping at the bit. It's like Beth is hiding the pitching. Either that or she knows something I don't. I take it as a good sign that she started Sunseri against FAMU. Really? Sunseri against FAMU.
But she has been bringing in Kilponen as a closer and nobody has done shite against her. I don't think Ali will be a closer this season except for spot duty.
BMG looked great, Sunseri has been very good.

The offense is coming. Like you have pointed out. the upperclassmen are not playing near as good as they did last year offensively. Did they get worse? I don't think so. With the newcomers added to the roster this can be a dangerous team in the near future.

Agree. I am not down on this team at all. I am pumped from what I have seen so far. They have not been good at the plate and are still winning. Just wait until they are not struggling at the plate.

Holy
Alabama chokes a 4 run lead in the 7th to North Carolina. They scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th to walk off 9-8
Fouts and their prized freshmen pitcher Kilfoyl got smashed
