So why didn’t Baskerville travel?

I never saw the reason. He was just named a starter a few weeks ago and was doing well

Sick. But tested negative for Covid. Not sure which team but medical staff wouldn’t let him come.

Someone suggested a suspension that perhaps the coaches were just covering up due to the sensitivity of the times and using possible Covid as excuse. Maybe Mary Jane
I don’t know just reading what has been suggested. Kind of makes sense in a genius way, because had they lose to Florida as expected it would’ve also given LSU a possible out for the Ole Miss game so that we didn’t end with 4-straight Ls and possible embarrassment to a lowly program like the Rebels which would undoubtedly make Baton Rouge an insufferable place to be for everyone this off-season in that scenario
So saying Covid keeps the “contract tracing” excuse open if LSU just wants to end the season and limit the damage to the program
