i pray we make the tournament for the sake of garrett temple, chris and the other seniors. dont give up on this team yet. not every team is going to have a 7'2 guy and shoot 70 percent from the floor.

Last night seems like it was just one of those nights.

1st true road game(in the freakin mountain air no less)
Against a team that is starting to play really good Bball
Against a team with a really good(and huge) C, which is our worst matchup problem
Also against a team who shot lights out on a night we didn't shoot well.

Those games happen, so I won't judge this team by that game.

This team, at this time, is in no way a world beater(and I don't think any of us thought they would be).
But, they do have the components to have a successful run in the SEC this year and make a run a the tourney, if they can overcome their huge hole in the middle.

IMO, last night might have been a blessing for this team.
They needed to go on the road and play a tough game. Forget about the point difference, like I said that shite happens.

I want to see how THIS team rebounds from that on Sun. Win or Lose, I want to see the team come out and play a tough, competitive game on Sun. And hopefully we'll find a way to pull it out. Winning on the road in the SEC is always tough, I don't care if the league is down or not. Conference play usually starts bringing the best out in teams.

I'm sort of middle of the road. I understand last night wasn't anywhere near normal conditions, but then again there are some definite holes in this team and areas that need serious attention. And again on the other hand, no one in their right mind should have expected this team to be completely flawless by game 14.

All that being said, I have high hopes for the long term future of the program.

CJ needs to get some arse behind him. He will get pushed around all season long.

It's really a shame a guy like that couldn't have redshirted. He could have really used the extra year from multiple standpoints.

agreed. I think i saw somewhere on here where someone said to put him in the 4 spot and get a real center in here, and I cant agree with anything more than this. He is a Dirk Nowitzki, not a dwight howard.
