Seriously... Their reasoning; it makes us look backwoods

I'm not a fan of all the electro music and I don't think it would fit the atmosphere on TS [It's taken over Ole Miss,UGA & USCe stadium].
On "Calling BR", not a fan of the song at all. But I deal with it.

i'm glad i'm not that miserable. it's hardly "backwoods" and this is the SEC after all.
honestly, i'm not a big fan of the electronic music. if you are going to pipe in music, at least make it fit in with the school and get the crowd/players excited. that is easier said than done though.

I'm not a fan of it either but I don't think it should necessarily go anywhere... I mean, you can at least see WHY they play it. Nothing to get up on arms about. Certainly not as bad a the electronic all game long

I filled out a survey from the Athletic Dept a few weeks ago and I said I don't like piped in music - and I suggested they get rid of "Callin BR" and "Eye of the Tiger".
That should do it.
Oh, and I suggested they quit following the exact same script every single game. Do we have to play the same songs at the same time with the same video for every single game? Mix it up! Make it interesting. Keep us guessing.
Colored lights look good outside the stadium. Bring the party inside. Throw in some lasers or something. Theyve got to do something to keep the people interested in staying in the stadium (other than the game - since that apparently is not enough).

This is what I'm worried about.

We have one of the greatest college football bands in the country, and absent playing after a TD, they have what, 5-6 scripted songs they can play during a game now. With every quarter break now being dedicated to introducing some fat cat alum/booster or former player/s, all we get now during that time is either commercials thru the public address announcer or piped in music. You want piped in music at its worse, go to a game in Starkvegas, it's like being at a rap concert. All game long.

I don't mind some of the piped in music but I'm with you 100%. Between the on-field acknowledgements and student section's shenanigans, the band's song list is becoming slim pickings. The players & fans loved Neck... gone. All of the Lights was a fun replacement.... thanks to the students throwing in STTDB last year it's likely gone. All I Do is Win is fun but it's only played when victory is secured in the 4th. I'd much rather listen to Poker Face by the band than Justin Bieber like they piped in last year.

I'll never understand why people get so up in arms over piped in music.
If you really don't understand why so many people hate PIM in Tiger Stadium, it would be a complete waste of time trying to explain it.
This aint the fricking NFL!

Too much piped in music has killed a lot of college football stadium atmospheres. It sucks in my opinion. The Garth Brooks song is enough.

They are doing this to uphold one of LSU fans favorite past times... Bit ching.
