Where is M’Khail Hilliard when you need him.

Shores is getting better and better now...impressed. Evans is going in reverse...as is cowan. We don't have a good pen....was hoping someone unexpected stepped up...so far no. It is all about confidence.

He got squeezed worse last week than today. You have to take into account second order effects. It's more than just the extra base runner and base hit. It's throwing from the stretch with the bases loaded against the heart of the order instead of having a clean start with no one on and no pressure.

He's 3 starts into his career after being a closer. He's adjusting from bullpen pitching to starting pitching. He's using his 3rd pitch (CB) more.

Today, he threw against the best offense in the country and should've been through 3 innings with 1 run and around 65 pitches, which is high, but not crazy.

He's faced 3 of the more talented teams in the country in his first 3 starts, 2 of them being rubber matches.

In the CWS you need 3 starters.
We have 4 guys who can start games and pitch well. We probably have the most, capable, starters in the country.

Ark has 4 but their 4th (Wood) is coming back from injury with mixed results.

The idea that you need an actual rotation of 3 starters to win the college world series in 2025 is just not an accurate statement.

No he's not.

No he's not he threw 3 scoreless innings against the best offense in the country on Friday. He threw one bad pitch at A&M.

Rizy, Noot, Williams, and Mayers have all looked better in the last month. Rizy faced a tough lineup, harder than any other he'll face this year, and they fought off a shite ton of good pitches. It happens. The only pitcher that seems to be going backwards in SEC play is Schmidt.

People need to look at our bullpen relative to the rest of the bullpens around the country.

Evan’s wasn’t bad, the ump was not giving us the outside corner on righties when he was giving it to Arky all damn day

I am not making excuses but the same thing happened to him against A&M. If he isn't getting the call on the corners then like most pitchers they struggle.

I think our bullpen can keep us in games come post season if they can just cut down on the walks.

If the offense can consistently score that's gonna take lots of pressure off the bullpen.

If not, it probably won't matter much anyway.
