So it's fair to say LSU was terrible before Saban? And Arkansas was terrible for like 30 years before Petrino but still not as bad as LSU? Thanks for clearing this up. Damn Saban in an awesome coach by the way. To turn a shite program like LSU into something is crazy.

Hey but it's okay. You can celebrate your 2nd place finish in the SEC west last season while we continue to win championships with a better team, better coach and a better overall program.

LSu experienced success in the SEC long before Saban. Arkansas hasn't won an SEC title yet and experienced success in the Southworst conference.
There is a reason why Arkansas fans are thrilled with 10 wins in a potential 14 game season, it's because you know that is as high as you folks will ever experience.
There is a reason many LSU fans were not happy with 8-9 win seasons. We knew it was underachieving. There is a reason you Hogs are thrilled with a ten win season. You know it's the best you can ever do.

Let's see here. Arkansas joined the SEC in 1992 and took only 3 years to win the division. It took LSU a decade? Arkansas played the national champs 2 of those 3 games and LSU has played near garbage in their title games. In terms of SEC history, LSU is just awful without Saban. You are in your greatest era right now so far be it for me to try to take that away. LSU is a very good program but Bama will skull frick you bc they are better coached.

So why do you claim beating 2 #3 teams if Arkansas was garbage? Arkansas is not on LSU's level this season and that is fair. We lost the entire offensive line, starting rb and qb. Not an excuse bc every smart Arkansas fan knew this would be an off season. I don't use the excuse "wait till next season" bc Arkansas is already there now. A top 5 finish with 11 wins during a down year is okay with me.

Arkansas was surely overrated to be in the #3 spot or even the #6 spot the prior week. But like we've heard, that's the system. So be it.
