We aren't resting anyone. Jeez, please get this loser mindset out of the fanbase before it infects the team.

Quit complaining about what is fair and what isn't.

This LSU team is on the verge of greatness. 14-0, SEC West Champions, SEC Champions, National Champions. Who on earth would not go all out on two of those (undefeated and SEC Champions).

im complaining that a system that hangs its hat on "every game matters" and thats what make it's better than a playoff is bullshite

every game does not matter. this is the last weekend before the bowls and there isn't a single game with NC implications. so why is it better than a playoff again?

I get what you're saying and can't argue against you, but I've just given up. If 14-0 Auburn in 2004 wasn't enough to change the system, I doubt that a "moot" (from the NC perspective) SEC title game will change anything either.

LSU is in the position of an NFL team that is 15-0 and trying to repeat what the 72 Dolphins did. That's the way I look at it.

I know what you're saying and I agree. But what can LSU do other than finish out the regular season?

i agree. and i want to beat UGA, go 14-0, and go down as one of the best cfb teams ever

but the notion of "every game matters" is completely out the window now, so why not have a true playoff?

I understand your point but I want an SEC championship to go along with the national championship.

It's really just coincidental. It's not like this happens every year.

Its been a pretty exciting year anyway. Every week has mattered. It just so happens Bama is way better than any other team behind them.

and there would have been 1 game that wouldnt have mattered anyway; The SECCG. So that is that.

I'm still trying to figure out how you seem to think that "every game matters." Heck, most SEC teams who have won the BCS title the last decade have had at least one regular season loss. Apparently, that loss doesn't matter in a vacuum. It matters relative to what the rest of the field is doing. is that hard to understand?

And why is it that you are totally dismissing the value of an SEC championship? If you watched LSU struggle to win *TWO* of those during the 30-year span of 1971-2001 maybe you'd appreciate. Are you 14 years old? Because, otherwise, I don't understand your lack of enthusiasm about it.

or maybe you're just trying to be a rantard.

And succeeding?

Oh, for the record, I'm all for a playoff. Basically, all we have now is effectively a 2-team playoff. And, yes, LSU has been so freaking dominant that LSU has already sewn up a spot (according to most) in that 2-team playoff.

Somehow, you find a way to gripe about this.
