to not give him a shot at starting because he is still learning is bull.

Lee has none nothing to have the starting gig taken away from him.

Hold your water till Lee stumbles or Mett does something of note against someone other than a Northwestern St. type team.

found out? what? he came in knowing he would be no better than 3rd, if not, he was delusional

uh, no. He and his family were sold on him getting playing time right away (see RS for similar confirmation). Realizing you are 3rd string behind one of the worst QBs in the nation, doesnt = "playing time, right away"

ergo, lack of focus

Lee is a 5th year senior.... Mett is a RS sophomore. Just on this fact alone you should know what's going to happen.

Mett should start because he looked good against Nw St? I'll give you that he looked very good but he's not going to start.

Mett WILL NOT start unless Lee gets injured.

Get a hammer and wham this into your brain. Geez...

guess either the coach is a good used car salesman or they are very gullible. to think he would start over two QB's that have been here for 3 - 4 years is absurd.

"He doesn't know the offense yet," was what we were told for months by LSU's coaches and those close to those coaches. "» They forgot, however, that if you can't make the throws, it doesn't matter how well you know the plays in which you're supposed to make the throws.

Both he and RS were sold on "LSU doesnt have a lot at QB right now. We need you."

that's a flat out lie that anybody should be able to see through. especially when you draft the #1 dual threat QB in the nation and he can't beat out either one of those two for the job, Mett should have known better.

We need you. when it's your turn or you prove to be the better QB
