re: So many of you seem to hate Miles now...

i would like nothing more. lets get something straight, for some tiger fans, we can separate criticism and hate. i understand some people hate miles with a purple passion. i know that for them, no amount of success will pacify. i will go on the record that i am not a miles hater. as an individual fan, he has done some things in the past 2 seasons that are a cause for concern. bottom line, (and i will continue to beat this horse) he is 8-8 in conference play. he is solely responsible for the ole miss debacle. i understand we have lost to a couple of national champs, but we have also dropped successive games to the nutt.he doesnt always play he best players, and he hasnt done a lot to improve the offense or get a handle on crowton's problems. our o line sucked monkey balls, and he is an ex o lineman. he should have recognized on game film (as we as fans did watching tv coverage) that blackwell, hurst and others would have been a better option at the point of attack. i like the chavis hire and obviously our d improved. we will see this year if we can run, develop a qb, and get the ball in the hands of the best playmakers (not the oldest). he hired gonzales to help with this and we'll see if it pays off. if he pulls another nc, then ill shut up. i am a fan, the only thing i can do is be fickle. thats my right. i dont feel that we are in the worst pair of hands in cfb, however, im not back to the point of defending him. ill let 2010 play out. we will learn a hell of a lot in game 1.

I really don't hate Saban, but pity his stalkers on Rant. He is a good coach, as most in the SEC are.
I don't see rantards running around here with their nose up Meyer's butt like he's in heat.

I look at it as both coaches had their off years. Saban just never had 2 avg seasons in a row, but never had 2 great ones in a row at LSU either, and nobody start with the Bammer NC crap.
His Bammer exploits just doesn't matter except that he's with a hated rival, and some on here don't even care to wipe his spunk off their chins.
This sleeping with the enemy shite sticks in my craw.

call it what'cha want, I just like a coach who is organized and doesn't tell his QB to ground the ball right away when you know you need a field goal right away to win or hurry and snap the ball to try to throw a winning TD.

a coach that does his homework on the opposing team and is ready to play and not have his team playin chaotic football throughout the game. He has dominate talent, but doesn't dominate anybody, just squeaks by, so yeah I guess I'm guilty of wanting a responsible coach.
