he built power houses in LSU and bama. I am not saying that that is easy to do. Just that he didn't exactly light the world on fire with michigan state. He had a similar record to Miles' record at ok state.

I have said shite, Saban has made the SEC west look foolish the last 2 years, gone unbeaten those years, made Tebow's arse cry worse than when Miles did with the squeak by win.
You Miles homers can keep going on and on about him being not much different from Saban which is a joke, but if he leads LSU to another 9-4 or some shite with that talent, you bitches should crawl under a rock.

Dude brought the first National Championship here since 1958.
Then goes to BAMA, and wins their first national championship since 1992.
Les Miles will earn my respect when he wins championships with his own.

I am not a Miles homer. I root for him to succeed because that means LSU wins. And I try to not have such a knee jerk reaction like some of you. I would rather look at what the problems are and see if he can fix them.
08 the defense sucked and we had turn over issues. He change DC's and so far so good(not great). Last year offense was a problem. I personally think the offense will be improved this year.

saban's 1-2 against meyer, didn't go undefeated 2 years.

I'll remember both. One will always give that icky feeling like he'd screw my wife if he had 1/2 a chance. (He doesn't wear a hat.)
That one hauled arse the minute his stock rose, while the other stuck with LSU and gave us a championship.
In 20yrs I'll care even less what he did at Bama than I care now.

I won't deny that Saban is a good coach...however, I also feel that Miles is a good coach as well.
Where I draw the line between the two is that when Saban's lips are moving...he's lying. Yes, he brought LSU to prominence but he also up and walked out. To me that's a cardinal sin. I don't care if other coaches do it or "it's just how things are now." I call bullshite. If you're truly happy in what you're doing and where you're doing it at....there shouldn't be a reason to leave. He left Michigan State, LSU, the Dolphins...and the gumps should be forewarned....he's going to do it to them as well. Mark my words, he will leave.
I realize that there aren't many Joe Paterno's or Bobby Bowden's out there...but hell...if you know you have a sweet thing going...why jump ship?

shite Hurricane, Saban didn't post as good a stretch with his players as Miles did. Also LSU only signed 1/2 a class due to Saban's trickery in '05
