This has gone on for 16 pages. 16 pages. For shite we've heard a thousand times. I almost have to read it to see wtf happened to carry this shite this far.
For certain, the Rant is now certifiably insane. I think we've been through this enough that to expect different results is not realistically feasible.

No, it didn't. Mack Brown did not sit there on the sideline with a time out while 17 crucial seconds went off the clock because he didn't know it was running, then call a play that, if it worked, would only stop the clock momentarily, then, knowing that at best he had a few seconds of clock stoppage, fail to A) have another play called, or B) have the FG unit ready. He decided to run a play. It was a play that would stop the clock until the next snap, so he could kick the FG. But it almost took too much time, and there was only one second left on the clock when the ball hit the ground out of bounds. That's a completely different situation. Actually, it was pretty much identical to our final play against Auburn in 2007, except that we caught the pass for a TD while they threw out of bounds.

Yes. The play they decided to run almost took too long. Exactly like us against Auburn in 2007. Maybe a mistake, but I've defended Miles on that call since it happened and still do.

actually, the only reason a second was put back on the clock is because the game determined who played in the n.c.
Challenge, in every game you watch this up coming season, check out the clock on every incomplete pass. see if they go back and add a second that ticks off on any other incomplete pass. it happens every game.
