So many of you seem to hate Miles now...

What would your image of him be if he get's LSU another BCSNC in the next year or two?

I would have to eat crow and never speka negatively of him again, but I'm not going top have to worry about that....he one a champ inspite of horrible coaching becasue he had character guys who didn't need his "cocahing" and becasue West Virginia lost to some shitty team.....we lost to Arky and Kentucky that year for God's sake.

Saban left LSU in 2004 --> 6 years ago.
If Miles won another national title that means he probably beat Saban to get there.

Some people will never like him. Even if he won another BCSNC, they would say he should have won two.

I remember us needing A LOT of help for that 2003 championship birth too. There are many things you can hold against Miles, but IMO this is not one of them. Bottom line - we won the 2007 championship.

If he wins another BCS Title, it means he has corrected his bad habits that leave many fans frustrated with him. For me it's always been about the process. It's not an accident that we have had so many close games with inferior opponents. Things have to change in order to win another BCS title. We won't be able to wait until we lose twice to make changes and still make it to the BCS title game. You have to be able to anticipate problems that will occur in the future.
But to answer the question, if he wins another title, I will never call for his job again. I'll probably still criticize certain decisions, but I won't imply he is a bad coach.

In theory I agree with this. But I'm not going to say never. Look at Bobby Bowden.
But if Miles can make it to Bobby Bowden status, then I will admit I was wrong about him.

Yeah, I probably made a mistake committing to that. I should have said that in the future I would view a down year as a small setback and not a downward trend. Nonetheless, certain standards need to be met.

I'm a Miles supporter not die hard because I am a tiger fan first, but he has this year if there are not marked improvements then I'm going to have him fired. And while I'm on a roll I'm going to have Saban fired too, because I hate him even when he was here I hated him. And then I'm going to have Obama impeached because I hate him to. And then I'll go after Jerry Jones....death is the only option for Jerry.

Since you're giving all the praise for winning to the players....maybe you should blame them for losing to Arky and UK as well. I mean....according to you Miles does nothing but accepts a check....so the blame should go on the players for losing, right?

I'd say he is a good if not great football coach even though he could never coherently tell you how he accomplished it.

Lose to Kentucky....and lose to Arkansas at home...have an insane amount of things happen like Pitt beat West Virginia and back into the BCS Title game.......I just don't see that happening.
