This is more for Choctaw and Lunchbox....you agree with Mandel's assessment on the way the two respective coaches were handled. I think he just sides with prevailing thought of the uninformed masses because confirmation bias will get you clicks too. There was no national fervor over the firing of Richt and yet 82% of poll respondents felt Miles shouldn't be fired.

This is the same guy that after the 06 season in his SI column Mandel said that had anyone else been coaching LSU they would have won a BCS championship in 06 and possibly 05.

No bleeding hearts for Richt. They all bled for Les.

I bet Alleva is tempted to line up another AD job for himself, but prior to leaving LSU give Miles a huge raise and a 10 year extension. Here you go LSU and the nation, you got what you wanted. Les has more power at LSU than the AD. That's very apparent to me now.
