I’m not skipping over anything. You are misreading the words I typed.

The technical process of firing Kelly takes time. This is not unique to LSU.

The post I responded to suggested that Kelly should coach until that process completed. Obviously that is absurd. Obviously nobody else does it that way.

That doesn’t mean this isn’t a shite show. I believe it is.

It doesn’t mean LSU is in the right.

No, it doesn't. LSU fired Kelly "effective immediately."

The process for negotiating his buyout might take some time, but LSU already fired Kelly effective immediately.
