who told?

So to settle the long debated question:

LSU will have a very dificult, respectable SOS every year by default because they play in the SEC. Win them all, no matter the strength of the OOC schedule, and we should play in the MNC.

BUT

The potion of their schedule within their control, including 3-4 home games per year, is usually chicken sheet, and this year is downright disgraceful. It projects weakness and is insulting to the fans and ticket buyers.

Tune in tomorrow when I answer the question: "Which is the one true religion?"

USC the best defense in the nation? How do you figure?

I figure as we have the best talent on that side of the ball, at least as far as I can tell.

Out of our 11 starters we will have 5 and possibly 6 eventual 1st rounders, with the remaining starters all getting drafted as well.

Who right now has a better case to be called the best defense in the nation?

Let's just see how the season goes, no doubt there is talent there but no telling what may happen with injuries, look at your tailbacks.

And what is the point in that? All the people will do is tell you that your arse needs to be a few hundered miles back down south.

No, just my informed opinion. Not sure why everyone is getting all uppity about it. The point is that the QB's are going against a great defense, and in doing so are not going to look that great. Sark, purposefully likes to make it rough on the QB's in practice.

You've had that experience too? It shocked me the first few times I said something about "back when I lived in the south..." and people got crappy with me about how Virginia IS in the south.

Well, rural Virginia is the south, sort of, but you get anywhere near DC, fugghedaboutit. And here in Norfolk it's Navy/Air Force people from all over the country. Yeah Richmond was the capital, but most of Virginia has morphed into something that ain't very southern.

They are going against the best D in the nation

Best D??

Let's see how the best D does against Ohio State. I predict Ohio State to put up 30+ points against the best D.

That statement is not completely off the wall and not that I agree with this listing but what he's saying is out there and many are saying it:

And again, media praising USC's out of confernce schedule like it is something special. Like the last couple of years, Nebraska and Notre Dame were not worth a shite, and everybody knew it. And now this year with fricking powderpuff Virginia and always overrated Notre Dame off a big 3 win campaign. Oh but wait, that rough and tumble Virginia game is on the road, wow. Even with our nothing non-conference schedule, we play 2 top five teams and another top ten in Auburn, along with several other difficult SEC games, some on the road. Then if we win the west, another top 5 team probably in SECCG.
