Different situation. But Crowton did OK his first year with Jimbo's players. Since they have been gone, offensive development has really been lacking.

Offense has to step up next year, defense is losing too many people and cant carry the load all season. We saw what happened at the end of this season when the defense took a step back.

Miles isn't stupid. He will make changes if he has to, but only then. I think he knows he has to.

One of the major reasons Miles didn't fire Crowton was because Miles is a man of integrity. He wasn't about to fire Crowton for the play calling when Les knew he, himself, was overriding Crowton in game.

In the end, Crowton WANTED to leave fwiw.

The offensive problem is glaring and it's pretty obvious it needs to be fixed. The Miles fan club really needs to stop making excuses and just deal with the reality here. What's probably bizarre to y'all is those who advocate change want Miles and LSU to succeed. If we didn't, we wouldn't want change.

Perfecto

Perfectly fricking said.

yea...i'm sure Crowtons dream was to come to an elite program, ruin their QBs and their offense, move on to an middle ACC school, crush their QBs dreams, and eventually land his dream job in the Canadian Football League

you sure do post alot unsubstantiated bullshite

Yea that explains #2 all time in Offensive TDs.
BTW, all good teams either score or are set up well by D and ST. This is a fact of football that shouldn't get by you.

all I addressed was scoring differential/margin of victory which i put in the quote from YOUR POST. nice job putting words in my mouth. you still change nothing about the facts i stated. NOTHING.

no, not all good teams score on D and ST and are set up well by D and ST like we were last year. However, that does not alleviate the ranking and woefulness of the offense now does it?

quote:

Prove your own point, and points are what win games, not yds. Sorry it doesn't fit your staff hating agenda.

and yet again, we scored a ton of points last year on D and ST. and those units set up short scores also.

Can't prove me wrong can you? 8 3 and outs in chick fil A bowl. The offensive ranking has sucked for years. DEAL WITH IT. at least we want change and for us to get better. oh but we hate the staff....

now please pull miles' cock out of your throat before you choke son.

funny...cause the shite they did this year was the stuff people were complaining about us not doing last year

It's almost hilarious the degree to which the bitching has contradicted itself over three seasons.

Anyone who believes this offense is anything close to what Crowton was running doesn't know jack shite about football.

agreed. but crowton did not run jack his last year here. a blind monkey could see that. it was the same similar offense we ran last year and this year. same base. i have laid it all out earlier in this thread. the zone read and speed option were canned for obvious reasons. That IS NOT a wholesale change in philosophy. we are still running BO BALL and have been since 2010.

This isn't a fact, it's an uneducated opinion based in butthurt.
