think of it this way.......

baylor beat oklahoma, iowa state beat ok state, texas tech beat oklahoma, tcu beat boise state, etc.

UGA beating LSU is not as big of an upset as Oklahoma state losing to Iowa state or all these big schools losing to the little guys this year. It's more likely than those scenarios because these are two big time programs with superstars and it can go either way saturday.

LSU won't have a field day running the ball, it will be close.

I'm sorry to bust your bubble, but you do know we are like 5 deep in the backfield right? We will continue to run the ball by punching it in with Ware, throwing an option with Ford after your guys become tired. If somehow, it's short yardage, then we will bring in our power package. Sooner or later your #4 defense will wear down and have JJ, Ford and even Blue take it to the house!

Isaiah crowell will have more yards rushing on saturday than anyone on the field.

That may be very possible. Maybe he gets 80 or 90 yards. But all 5 of LSU's RB's and Jefferson will rush for 150 to 200 yards.

The John Mackey award?? He's one of three finalist for the award. I thought there were several Tight Ends better than the Georgia guy.

ETA: I really admire your ambition. But trust me; after Saturday, you'll just be a memory on this board. Just like all the other naysayers.

This may indeed happen, but most of those yards will probably come with the game in hand for LSU, and LSU as a team will rush for way more than UGA

RBL, I'm sorry, but you are very delusional. I like the fact that you support your team, but Crowell is going to find out just how fast our defense is. With Kiki, Montgomery, and Brooks coming off the edge, Crowell won't have time to even receive the hand off. I bet Kiki gets the handoff before he does. It's not going to be the Bulldogs year...I'm sorry!

Buddy I hate to burst your bubble. But we aren't Okie St, Okie, or Boise St.

Sure under dogs when some times and and given Saturday and all that stuff. This isn't one of those times.

But one last question....

If UGA wins what will you have to say after the game about how we didn't have a chance?

Georgia also struggled to beat Ole Miss and that win saved Mark Richt's job. Our offensive stats are misleading and many opponents fans fall into the trap by reading too much into them. We win field position battle and turnovers so we operate on a short field most of the game. Our special teams consistently pins our opponents inside the 10 yard line forcing their offenses to make long drives against our defense. We have given up just 6 TDs in 8 SEC games(1 was a fumble returned for TD). Ya'll are very thin at rb and once LSU shuts down your running game it will be over. Kentucky shut down your offense so what do you think will happen against our defense?

By all means don't let anyone here shake your faith or keep you from cheering hard for your school. We just want you to know this is the best team LSU has ever fielded, and they will not be denied.

ETA- If UGA wins, I will eat my crow like a man. Please keep posting here this week

No, but it's still an upset. IF LSu comes out flat, anything could happen. I just can't see LSU coming out flat for the SECCG..

IF LSU overlooks UGA, anything could happen. Don't bet on it though. I think UGA definitely improved over the course of the year and is a damn good team though.

The worst part about losing to UGA would be the shite Boise would spew. It would be absolutely miserable.
