This reads just like a Les Miles apologist wrote it about him two seasons ago.

Don't get me wrong. It would be great to win a national championship every couple of years in ALL sports. But I realize that championship seasons don't come along every year.

There are exceptions of course. The LSU baseball program of the nineties and the current run the bama football program has had, being a couple of those.

But all the knuckleheads that are losing sleep over a team 3 weeks into a season without playing a single conference game is a little extreme in my opinion. We've made it to regionals and beyond every year except one since 2008, and missed the post season only 4 times going all the way back to 1985.

But I know there a lot of folks that post on the rant that feel LSU should win it all every other year or so and when it doesn't happen, the only logical solution in their minds is to fire the coaches. Perhaps you're one of those people.

And for the record, I was a Miles supporter. It was time for him to go at the end of the 2015 season, but I did support him while he was here.

How will he learn to compose himself in adverse situations if he gets pulled at the first sign of trouble

Hence why I said LSU will learn from this game.

Paul manieri shuffles the lineup and experiments with pitchers in early season mid week games. He has always done that. They will turn it on don't worry.
