Sloan waiting until the 4th quarter to get Berry involved is inexcusable.

There was 0 attempt at a traditional running attack the first half. Our RBs had a grand total of 1 carry in the 1st half. Every run play was to a WR (I don’t count Johnson as a true rb) with 1 going to Kaleb Jackson in which he picked up 10 yards. You knew going in Ole Miss struggles to stop the run, and instead of utilizing your 5 star phenom freshman who’s clearly your most explosive weapon in the backfield you run gadget runs to the wrs the whole 1st half, and waited until it was to late to use Berry. His numbers don’t pop off the stat sheet but he was finding lanes late and could have been the spark you needed if you just comitted to attempting to run the ball.

Nuss has sucked arse but this bullshite with not being able to have even an average running game for 3 years straight is fricking ridiculous. Kelly talks about “having to commit to the run” every off season and it’s the same shite. Like Les with the passing game, we’ve just swapped offenses.
