No, I just would like to see guys like you and Slo to do something other than point out what's wrong. I don't like the last two years but I see some small things that make me think we will be improved next year. I don't always think firing the coach is the way to go.
I just hope that if Les doesn't deliver we get someone up to the task and that the Saban love ends there.

how come Les doesnt have a solution though? You expect me, who you obviously feel is retarded, to provide a solution but the great Les can't come up with one for 2 years and you're perfectly fine with it. Cause he's LSU and we're gonna bury our heads in the sand and pretend everything is well!!

In the meantime how about finding an identity. Do you want to be a dynamic offense or win with defense?
I completely agree with this statement. That's a huge flaw the last two years.

So who is the new coach that will take LSU there? Who out there can go toe-to-toe with Saban?
What the hell are you thinking...Miles is the man! He has proven himself a great administrator that gets the most of his coaching staff and players. Now, if you don't believe any of that, go tell him to his face so he can kick your arse!

what do you want me to do? go kill people so we HAVE to replace them?

Wow, that felt good. No thinking, just saying stupid shite that a few morons can understand.

IF you read what I type you wouldn't say that. I know you're not retarded, you do this on purpose. Sick maybe but not dumb.
I never said I was fine with it. I just don't think calling for his to be fired based on his entire body of work doesn't make sense. I also, think he is taking steps to correct it. He doesn't deserve an infinite amount of chances but he also doesn't deserve the bullshite spewed on here most of the time.

Another word "Standardized", perhaps easier to understand.

and the difference is i want what is best for LSU, and you hated saban before he coached at bama

we all know i believe miles did. the question is who do YOU think inherited the better program?
Why is this so improtant? Will it help LSU Win more Football games in the future? If I don't put Saban's name down, you will come back with something like this:
"The NFL disagrees with you. Do you think you are a better judge of talent than the NFL?"
Tell me I didn't just put your response. Oh you can throw in "Bat-shite Crazy" or some other bizarre adjectives. I'll just go ahead & save about 5 pages of back & forth.

This has been said (granted by me) on this board, so it must be true. Everyone get in line or fear the wrath of the rediculas redundant!

Yeah that makes sense, about as much sense as trying to argue with someone that Saban is better than Miles in a thread asking what we should do to fix a problem at LSU.
"hey, what do you think we need to do to get better next year?"
"Saban is better than Miles"
"ok but what should we do about LSU?"
"you dont know what you're talking about Saban is better than Miles"
see how much of a waste of time that is?

He's an Ambulance cha..er Defense Attorney in Lake Charles...it's in his blood to find things wrong. Fixing them is far above his pay grade.

Easy, stick behind our guy for now. Don't jump on the bandwagon with guys that want LSU to fail (bama fans, OlePiss fans, negatigers).
I like the Gonzales hire and the Wilkerson hire. We improve on offense and get a few breaks and we're back on top. I'd like to see the team show some more discipline and that has to start at the top.
I am fearful of firing Les b/c we don't know who we'll get. I don't have any confidence in the AD and that could be why Les was slow to fix problems.
If we lose 5, Les should be fired. If we lose 4 (depending on how things look) he should probably go as well.
If we lose 3 or less and the offense looks much improved then I think we celebrate.
I'm pulling for the guy cause he's our coach.

The people who think Miles is a better coach than Saban are insecure as LSU fans and they're still in outward denial (though they do feel it even though they are reluctant to admit to a second party)that Saban is in the SEC and taking back what Bama was for so long. The people who outwardly project that Saban isn't that good are the ones who harp continuously on the 2000 UAB game, the 2001 Ole Miss game, and the Capital One Bowl...not to mention his loss to ULM in his first season in Tuscaloosa.
If anyone thinks that any other decent coach couldn't have done or outdone what Miles did is even more in denial. The '06-'07 squads were the two most talented in LSU history. 4 and 5 stars peeking in their careers were all over on both sides of the ball. If you think that an a-hole like Bobby Petrino...or Tubby, Rich Rod, Norm Chow, Pat Hill, Frank Costanza, Gary Coleman, etc etc couldn't have won ONE SEC title in 5 years, then you're in denial as well. That SEC title was against the perfect eastern opponent in UT. Thank God we didn't draw UGA for a rematch with Florida...hell, even UK. Them the stars went beyond perfect as Mizzou and WVU choked. We backed into a NC game a week after all but eliminating ourselves. That Arkansas loss should have put us out.
I am not going to be the fan who hopes Miles loses so we can fire him. I am an LSU fan, alum, and lifetime supporter. I, however, hope there can be some scenario that even with 9 wins, if Miles pulls bullshite like last year, that we can peacefully shove him off into another coaching ocean. I applaud him mostly for telling UM to frick off (but so many others tell me that UM told HIM this...SFP, I am sure, has theories). As our head coach, he'll never win another BCS c'ship. I will ban myself if he does - gladly and send a check for 1,000 dollars to the softball team. An SEC title? Perhaps. A west title? Hell, that's about the same difficulty as the former.
So, the solution? Once again...let's see how this year plays out. Like it or not, he'll be here for at least 2 more seasons. Maybe more. IT's like signing a MLB free agent to a 10 year deal worth 25 mil and then he gets hurt in his first game. It's just a situation we're stuck with. Miles will get more time than any coach in LSU history. NO one else wants him. We're stuck. In the meantime, I hope he can shut us all up and win the SEC west. That would be enough for me.
I say we go 8-4 and go to the Cotton and play Pelini. That ok with y'all? Aside from this being a primetime stage; a boost for recruitment; a venue that is second to none; and an ability to get a W against UN - this is not okay with me.

Good enough, thanks! I think you lay out a plan that I could get behind (not that we really have a say).
Obviously, I don't have much faith in Miles, but if LSU is able to look like a team with a sense of purpose this year, we as LSU fans will be more aligned. I really would like to see all of us quit the in-fighting and start the outward aggression.

Yeah, I miss the 07 offseason where we are telling VT how we're going to kickass. Now we got guys saying we suck and LSU fans rush to support them.

2005 Miami, 2007 VT, 2006 UK, and 2008 GT were perfect games...the only 4 under Les Miles in 5 years. If we played with that sort of attitude and swag each and every time...
