nice argument. you obviously are well educated on the subject

Care to explain to me why players that had 3 years under Miles weren't Miles' players? While many of those players only saw the field while Miles was coach.

Answer is simple; HE CAN'T.

He hates Miles and his vision is blurred.

First of all, if you're going to split language, not one player is Miles' property. Therefore, they are not Miles' players. Secondly, I should have phrased it correctly:

Miles has not take a team entirely composed of the players he has recruited and signed at LSU to Atlanta to play in the SEC Championship game.

Couldn't you say the same about Saban? Serious question.

The Debbie Downers are feeling lonelier these days now that Les just put his foot up their arse.

Everyone is not a Meauxron. If you did not notice it all happened after the Bama game.

Yes, you can. This post is about Miles, though, and, in my opinion, the unreasonable support Miles has all of a sudden garnered because of one Cotton Bowl victory.

Do a little research, the Miles bashers have been losing steam and been getting smacked around since way before the Cotton Bowl victory.
But hold on to that negativity.

No. You left out half of the quote:

the unreasonable support Miles has garnered after one Cotton Bowl victory.

I guess you'd be much happier if we had lost. How sad you must be.

Your avatar (when I look at it now) really reminds me of this one time I saw a golden retriever in my yard. It was cute looking.

When I went up to try to pet it, the dog growled at me and and acted like it wanted to maul me.

Try to let that sink in a bit.

...ok....see if you can understand this ...

1. Tex A&M was not "average" . And no, not gonna 'splain it to ya
2. Saban didn't win w/ "all his players" , nor Meyer, nor Stoops,
etc etc etc .. . In fact, Nicky didn't win last year w/ "all his
players. .. Happens all the time ..
3. We will be IN POSITION to COMPETE for BCS next year
4. CLM is solid coach, who appears to be evolving and learning,
correcting weak spots, providing stability, players love him,
recruits GREAT ...why not be optimstic..

You didn't hear...simply by the act of Miles turning down Michigan all of the continuing (unaddressed) problems of the last few years are going to just disappear. If anybody dare think otherwise, well you are just a terrible LSU fan.

I agree, this board is becoming more delusional than Alabama message boards. There is not enough consistency to believe that we have a legit shot at putting together a 12-1 or 13-0 type year. There have been too many mental mistakes, game management screw ups and games where we don't show up against weaker opponents over the last three years to believe that we can play consistently enough at a high level to go 12-1 or 13-0.

I dont think its just because he won the cotton bowl.

I think its a combination of the bowl game, Miles turning down Michigan to cement him as an "LSU man", and finally getting Crowton out.

Plenty of reasons to be optimistic right now. Too bad you cant see them...

Some of you "fans" are just miserable fricks. Why do you even care about LSU football? We have all told you why we feel that we are contenders next year so you tell us why were not.
