Robert E. Lee or Jefferson Davis?

Tough decision.

But I would have to go with Robert E. Lee. Great general.

Lee gave up on himself when he was no longer starter. Positions like QB have a lot of ego that come with them and when a young fragile mind is tormented by the memory of 08 i do not think he can ever play at a high level again.

i doubt he gave up on himself. he would have left LSU. he showed in the spring that he's capable.

i think we'll be fine with whoever is back there.

At least Lee never "clocked" the ball with one second left! If Jefferson had one ounce of brains he would have told evrybody to go out for a pass and took his chances to score. That was the most embarrasing moment for me as an LSU fan...to see Ole Miss fans giving us the looks of pity that they did after the game...unbelievable stupidity...

So we are back to square one, both of them still have their issues

You can tell in the Alabama game(2009)that Lee looked uncomfortable and nervous as shite. He is reckless when throwing the ball and plays timid in my opinion. He takes the wind out of the sails with numerous int's (that always seem to be returned for touchdowns). Hell put Shep or Randle back there and run the damn wildcat every play. Both can run and throw.

people on here believe this is better than taking a chance and possibly throwing a pick to end the game

i think this team'll win close to 10 games regardless who's at the helm

... i just would rather see someone sling the ball around the field in doing it

Guess we agree to disagree

There are numerous ways to spell that last name. Forgive me for misspelling it....

This argument will never be won we have 2 QB's that no one can give beyond a reasonable doubt proof of their right to be a starter we have 2 sub-par choices at QB. One QB just throws the balls around like he is a child playing games at a carnival. One QB who protects the ball like it is the secret Nuclear launch codes!

WTF ? to take a chance to lose a game that was already lost if you "clock" the ball? So what if you throw a pick? You're behind by two points...the coaches don't have sense enough to manage the last two minutes of the game and have the field goal team ready and waiting...At least we had a chance to score with a pass !
